It would be a good idea to follow #prostatecancerawareness
because it could help you see the symptoms
in yourself, your husband, your son, your brother or even your friend. This
hashtag can help you save a life or educate others which can help them save a
life.
Advantages of social media for #prostatecancerawareness
ü
Symptoms are readily available online
ü
Medical question forums for those that don’t
always have access to a doctor
ü
Awareness can help inform people on what actions
they should take if they suspect that they have prostate cancer
Disadvantages of social media for
#prostatecancerawareness
û
Financial exploitation- cancer patients that
can’t afford chemo or their medical expenses often take it to social media to
find people or companies willing to donate, which makes it very easy for
scammers to do the same.
Recommendations
I do think this hashtag should be
used and spread around the world as there are more advantages than
disadvantages. Even though there are more advantages people should be careful
when donating to people that claim that they need help with their medical
expenses as they could become victims of a scam. One should also clarify with
their doctors about information they come across and believe to be true with a
registered healthcare professional. This is an interactive blog, so feel free
to comment on anything you like.

DeleteMen must be concerned about their health, and check up if they have prostate cancer and do what is necessary to make sure the cancer does not get to an advanced stage where it will affect them because they will have to now go for treatment even when they have work or other important activities.Prevention is also good, by eating the correct diet and drinking a lot of water.
